The IIR is actively exploring and identifying collaboration opportunities and connecting the laboratories and research centres of the IIR network with stakeholders seeking expertise, services and research for innovation. Interested members centres are included in IIR Directories.

Directory: IIR directories are an essential tool for all those involved in the refrigeration sector: they allow users to locate and contact international experts in the various fields of refrigeration as well as laboratories conducting refrigeration-related research. A new Member Directory is in place to expand the access to our network.

The IIR expertise directory is made up of an international network of 390+ IIR Commission members recognised as experts by their peers. The laboratory directory lists 300+ laboratories in over 50 countries.

Funded at the European and international levels, these projects support the IIR's core mission of developing knowledge and fostering collaboration on refrigeration and heat pump technologies to improve the quality of life in a cost-effective and environmentally sustainable way. Priority to be invited as a partner in R&D consortium projects

Members are prioritised when the IIR invites experts for Research and Development (R&D) projects, e.g. applied research, technology demonstrations and similar consortium projects.

R&D consortium: The IIR is a key consortium partner in many research projects. Funded at national, European and international levels, these projects support the IIR’s core mission of developing knowledge and foster collaboration on refrigeration and heat pump technologies to improve the quality of life in a cost-effective and environmentally sustainable way.
